Assembly Has Started!

I have to admit that it is not without emotion that i share with you these first images of the start of the assembly… not even 2 years after the kick-off of the project, and after 3 months of incredibly intense work without one day of break…

Shot this Saturday morning in L’Atelier Horloger de Dann

on Thursday November 5th evening Ludivine, our new Watchmaking operator, Julian, Dann – our two (master) watchmakers – and myself have put together all the elements to jumpstart assembly.

Preparing assembly kits

The beauty of being a start-up and of practicing “etablissage” is that both watchmakers are going to assemble from their own atelier instead of working in the Czapek Atelier. Only Ludivine Christine, Dina and myself are working in Le Locle now. We reduce the C-19 contagion risks to nearly zero and maximise chances of a fast and efficient assembly.

Dann & Julian setting their respective dynometric screwdrivers to the right torque (12mNm) with the Tonichi torque check tool.

Stay tuned… i feel that Dann and Julian are so excited by the movement assembly that we will have some good news on Monday…
